The OU (Orthodox Union) Kosher is the world’s largest and most widely recognized kosher certification agency, certifying over 1,261,754 products produced in more than 3,000 plants located in 103 countries around the world.

The Union Kosher Pareve certification, also known as Orthodox Union (OU) Pareve, is a specific classification within kosher certification. Here are some key points about Union Kosher Pareve certification. Definition: A product labeled as “Pareve” or “Parve” under the OU Kosher certification indicates that the product contains neither dairy nor meat, including dairy or meat derivatives. It also signifies that the product was not made on dairy or meat equipment.

Union Kosher Dairy – Dairy products must meet the following criteria in order to be certified kosher: They must come from a kosher animal, all ingredients must be kosher and free of meat derivatives. (Conventional rennet, for instance, is of animal origin and may not be used in kosher dairy), they must be produced, processed and packaged on kosher equipment.

The Triangle K symbol is a patented and trademarked logo that signifies “kashrut” as defined by the most stringent of Orthodox Jewish law. The organization offers its rabbinical supervision and certification on any ingredient or product that meets the strictest criteria of what makes such items kosher.

Rabbi Menahem Hadad, Chief Rabbi in Brussels, has been active in the Kosher certification of the food industry since 1993.
He is the son of Rabbi Y. Hadad of Milan, a pioneer in kosher certification since 1961, from which he drew all his knowledge of the food industry and its processes.

The KLBD (Kashrut Division of the London Beth Din) is the leading UK authority on Jewish Dietary Laws. It operates under the aegis of The Court of the Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth and carries out Kosher Certification in the UK and Europe, India, China, Australia and across the Far East.

Halal Quality Control (HQC) is an independent Halal certification body that is internationally accredited and recognized as one of the most reliable in Europe. Founded in 1983, HQC has over 35 years of experience in the field of Halal certification.

Halal Italia is an Italian organization that certifies products according to international quality and safety standards. The certification ensures that products meet specific production and processing criteria. Halal Italia is internationally recognized, which facilitates the export of certified products to various global markets, including the United States.

The VEGAN OK certification is an ethical standard that helps consumers identify and choose entirely plant-based products. It has become a benchmark for anyone who has adopted or is approaching a sustainable, ethical, and healthy lifestyle.

The ICEA certification for Vegetarian and Vegan Products certifies that food products are made without the use of animal-derived ingredients. This certification helps consumers easily identify vegetarian and vegan products on the market, promoting 100% plant-based consumption. The certification is also recognized in the United States, allowing the export and commercialization of these products in the American market.

The BIO certificate is a certification issued by a certification body with the aim of recognizing companies in the agri-food chain that respect certain standards established by the European Union12. This certificate is essential for companies that produce and market “bio” products.

The IFS Food certification is a standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) for certifying the safety and quality of food products and production processes.

IGP is a mark of origin that recognizes food products which have a specific quality, reputation or other characteristic that is closely dependent on the production, processing and/or preparation, developed in a specific geographical area.
