Ingredients
- 200 g Flour
- 100 g Butter
- 80 g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
- A Pinch of salt
- Amy Almond sweet spreadable cream (for filling)
Instructions
Prepare the Dough:
1. In a bowl, work the butter with the sugar until creamy.
2. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
Form the Cookies:
4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out circles using a cookie cutter.
5. Place half of the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Add the Filling:
6. Spread a teaspoon of Amy on each cookie circle.
7. Cover with another cookie circle and gently press the edges to seal.
Bake:
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 12-15 minutes, or until golden.
Serve:
9. Let cool before serving.
