Ingredients
• 1 baguette or rustic bread, sliced
• 300 g champignon mushrooms, sliced
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tablespoons fig balsamic glaze
Instructions
Prepare the Bread:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
2. Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with a little extra virgin olive oil.
3. Toast in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cook the Mushrooms:
4. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
5. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms.
6. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Bruschette:
7. Top each toasted bread slice with the cooked mushrooms.
8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
9. Drizzle with fig balsamic glaze.
