Ingredients

  • 4 Ripe Tomatoes (preferably Cuore di Bue or San Marzano)
  • 250 g Buffalo mozzarella (or fior di latte)
  • Fresh basil
  • Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients:
1. Wash the tomatoes and slice them into rounds about 1 cm thick.
2. Drain the buffalo mozzarella from its water and slice it into rounds about 1 cm thick.
3. Wash and dry the basil leaves.

Assemble the Dish:
4. Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices alternately on a serving plate, forming a circle or a row, depending on your preference.
5. Place the basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella slices to add freshness and color.

Season:
6. Drizzle the Caprese with a generous amount of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
7. Season with salt to taste.
8. If desired, add a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper.

Serve:
9. Serve the Caprese immediately to enjoy the freshness of the ingredients.

Tips:
For an extra touch, you can add a bit of dried oregano.
If you prefer, you can use cherry or grape tomatoes cut in half for a different presentation.
