Ingredients
- 4 Slices rustic bread (about 1 cm thick)
- 2 Ripe Tomatoes
- 1 Garlic clove
- Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Bread:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) or heat a grill.
2. Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast them until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Prepare the Topping:
3. While the bread is toasting, wash the tomatoes and dice them into small cubes.
4. Place the diced tomatoes in a bowl and season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
5. Add a drizzle of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and mix well to combine the flavors. If you like, you can add some torn fresh basil leaves.
Prepare the Garlic:
6. Peel the garlic clove and lightly rub it on one side of each slice of toasted bread to flavor it.
Assemble the Bruschetta:
7. Evenly distribute the seasoned tomatoes over the toasted bread slices.
8. Drizzle a bit more Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the bruschetta to enhance the flavor.
Serve:
Arrange the bruschetta on a serving plate and serve immediately, garnishing with fresh basil leaves if desired.
