Ingredients

  • 800 g Italian Peeled Tomatoes
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, crushed
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth
  • 100 ml Cooking cream
  • Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, to taste
  • Mini-Chomps Pizza crackers, for serving

Instructions

Sauté the Aromatics:
1. In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and crushed garlic in a bit of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil until golden.

Simmer the Soup:
2. Add the Italian Peeled Tomatoes and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then let it simmer for 20 minutes.

Blend the Soup:
3. Use an immersion blender to blend the soup until smooth.
4. Stir in the cooking cream and mix well.

Adjust Seasoning:
5. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve:
6. Pour the velouté into bowls and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
7. Serve with Mini-Chomps Pizza crackers on the side to add crunch and flavor to your velouté.
