Ingredients

  • 1 Can Chickpeas
  • 1 Bottle Tomatoes Puree
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Carrot
  • Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, to taste
  • Breadcrumbs, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture:
1. In a blender, blend the chickpeas with the onion, garlic, and carrot until smooth.
2. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, and add breadcrumbs until a moldable mixture is obtained.

Shape the Meatballs:
3. Shape the mixture into meatballs.

Brown the Meatballs:
4. In a pan, heat some Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and brown the meatballs on all sides until golden.

Cook with Tomato Sauce:
5. Add the Tomatoes Puree to the pan with the meatballs and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve:
Serve hot with chopped fresh parsley.
